6700 goes to activesync window and locks up on boot.

Hello all. I searched, but couldn't find anything related to this. This is the second time that this has happened to me in a week! The first time required a hard reset and reconfiguring my phone. Hopefully someone can help me with the second time around.

When I soft reset, everthing acts normal and SPB + comes up. I do notice that all of the programs associated with the
memory card show generic icons like they don't exist. Then, the screen switches to the active sync window and locks up.
I cannot do anything with my phone in this state and cannot receive/make calls. I have a feeling that the phone is not talking nicely to the memory card?
If that were the case, then why did it start working again after I hard reset?

Any suggestions.

It sounds like you may have a bad application installation. Have you added anything new lately?

Since you have SPB + can you start it in safe mode? If so, try removing an application or two, and see if that helps. Also looking your windows/start up folder while in safe mode to see if there is anything there from recently installed applications, if so remove it.

You may have to do a hard reset again. I would suggest that this time, once you have everything installed and working properly that you do a backup. This way if it happens again you can do a restore and be running in minutes.
