Using a Non-hardware button for audio gateway on PPC-6700?

I have the new Voice Command 1.6 on my phone now (and it is great1), but I would like to regain the ability to use audio gateway. Anyone know how to do it without hitting a button on the headset?

This was the one problem others have reported on the 1.6 upgrade, especially in regards to receiving voice instruction over BT from GPS.
No solution at this point, but with all these rabid hackers around this site, I doubt it will remain like this long, lol.

It does, however, work fine in conjunction with my stereo BT headphones, I can easily pause the music, make/take a call, hang up, then un-pause the music...works great! so the switchability is there....just got to hook it up to GPS as well....

Have you tried one of the many programs that open the audio gateway? You don't need a hardware button, and it should open the gateway like you want.
