Anyone ever experience this? I just got a replacement phone from the Sprint Store, and it seems brand new, yet when I slide out the keyboard, the screen doesn't rotate. Very annoying when trying to type

Note: I cleared the storage first thing, so everything is default

I wish I had that 'problem' I would switch the screen to landscape and just leave it there. I think there's a thread where others were trying to accomplish this, but couldn't...

If I'd seen this earlier, I would have offered to trade with you. I'm on my second replacement in a week. First one, the D-pad got stuck.
Then the replacement wouldn't rotate it's screen automatically. This one is OK, but has a scratch on the screen that I'm slightly concerned about.

I can't remember where I read this in this forum, but the phone has a magnet in it to detect when you slide the keyboard up and down to rotate the screen. If you've tried a hard reset and it still is not rotating then I would go for another replacement.

Have you manually tried to rotate the screen with the little utility that sits in the bottom system tray?
