idea for ppc-6700 to make free outgoing calls

A lot of people on verizon and sprint can have unlimited incoming calls and free internet.

So what you can do is use jajah.com or freecall.com to make free outgoing calls because it calls you.

jajah.com/mini is a nice web interface.

freecall.com is better because callerid information is passed through.

I use it to make LD phone calls to canada.

What I want is people to make these sites more friendly to ppc-6700 or wm5 users.

It seems like an easy program to write a program to connect calls in your contact list through jajah.

If nothing else, someone should make a simple webpage that allows you to use freecall.com since it doesn't work with the pocket ie.

I think this is the easiest way to make international calls free - http://www.futurephone.com/ - got a great writeup in the NYTimes tech pages a couple of weeks ago. - sheureka

the problem with futurephone.com is the same with any other calling card program. you need to dial the number a second time which is a big pain in the butt.

Since when has anyone on Verizon been able to get free incoming calls? Years ago we had first incoming minute free, but I have not seen any plans with free incoming ever.

Futurephone is pretty cool. Called Tokyo yesterday. Unfortunately, they do not cover all city codes in all countries. They did not support calls to Nagoya. China is cool since you can call mobile #'s.

Looks like Freecall is free only for 90 days

"Great news for all our customers:

We decided to drop the expiry dates for credit. That means your credit will last for ever!

And it gets even better: From now on buying credit entitles you to 90 "Freedays". This means you can call,
for a period of 90 days (unless stated otherwise), all destinations marked as "Free" for free!
When you have run out of Freedays, you can call these destinations at a minimal rate.

"
