do a hard reset by holding down the power button and the reset button. the reset is the little hole, best use your stylius point to stick in there. this will reset to factory default settings..

if this still gives you problems, consult your provider..

Do you have a miniSD card in it? You might try taking it out and then doing a reset. (Not hard) I had that happen once after I installed a program on the miniSD card that cased it to lock up on the Windows Mobile screen. Once I took it out and cleaned up the registry with the entries for the application it was all good.

Also you should NOT have to re-install the firmware from a hard reset. It is burned to the ROM chip. Not sure what zizo72 is referring to there unless he was meaning that the firmware might be hosed up. Even then the likelyhood of that is slim in my opinion.

(No disrespect there zizo72)

Not a problem CountryDevil. I froze my phone on the sprint screen before (Overclocking). Soft resets and hard resets didn't work. I was instructed in another posting to connect to the PC and do a reset until I see on the scree "USB" then install the firmware and it worked.
