Do/did you use an encryption program for your Treo? I use SoftWinter's Sentry for my 6700 and put sensitive files in an encrypted folder.
I don't have a lot of business info on either one, but even less on the Treo. I don't use the internal email on either one for business emails. What has motivated me to think about this is that a business associate lost her Treo with a lot of confidential emails.
I don't want to be bothered unlocking my phone each time I use it and besides a lot of info is on the cards anyway for which the lock would have no effect. I don't think just the email program and the emails can be encrypted/password protected.

I last version I had was 3.6. (Had to actually turn the bad boy on to check it out!) I can't remember how far back it went with the remote wipe feature though. I did not use any encryption software at the time. I am going to check out Sentry for my 6700 however since my current job requires a little more security than my last one when I had my 650.
