I have the same issue on my Treo 750, as soon as I unlock OnLockPro pocketoutlook/activesync will pull new emails, but not while it is locked.

maybe I am missing something?

thanks,
Ix.
This is a similar problem that I am having with MNotes (similar to the exchange puch), it will sometimes work in background, but after a while of trying to run it will no longer connect to the EVDO network. I have nonw removed the screen lock and this problem has pretty much went away.

I enjoyed this program and thank you for your work on it. I had an odd problem though. First, I had to install the compact.net 2 framework. I may have misunderstood, but I was thinking that was no longer required to make the options work in this "pro" version.

But, that wasn't the real problem. After powering off for the night, I took the phone out of its case this morning to find it on a dimmed, onlock screen (I had mine set to display the onlock message full-screen) hung at 1 second before power down and showing a time of 2:30 a.m. My unlock key combo (phone on then phone off, XY) did nothing, nor did the power button. I had to soft reset.

Any possibility of altering the first post so that it correctly points to the most recent version?

Question Question about screenlock turning off.

I love this program. I just have one concern about it. Quite often when I go to lock my 6700, then unlock it, it was never locked to begin with. I have to go back into the OnLockPrefs and activate again. Is there a way to stop it from terminating the program? I have the lock set to the voice record button. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm playing around with this program (got rid of Mortsaver, too much a PITA)

It works for a few minutes, then it stops locking the phone.

I can't get into the prefs because Goodlink takes up too much storage, so I can't install .NET CF.

Any thoughts?

Install as much as you can on your memory card instead of the onboard memory.

Where is the most recent version? I went thru the entire thread and there is only one link to an updated version which is very old.

I installed this on my 6800 and it works great except for one thing, backing up. OnLock works great and will restart itself after a soft reset fine. However when SPB Backup runs, it kills everything running, does the backup, then a soft reset to relaunch all the apps. When this happens, despite the fact that OnLock says it's active and set to turn on after reset, and I confirmed with MemMaid that it's running, it won't lock at all. It takes a reinstall to fix it. Is there any way around this? I really want a locking app but I can't go without daily backups.

When doing your Spb Backup, uncheck "Stop processes before backup"; it's not necessary. I did so because of another issue and now everything works great.

Well now OnLock Pro won't work, period. It was fine until some point yesterday and then it just stopped. I uninstalled everything I've installed recently and reinstalled OnLock Pro. I made sure to do a soft reset between each step. It's still not working for me and I can't figure out why. All I want is a simple and reliable locking program and I can't find one that will work consistently.

Wow. I have not checked this thread in a while. Sorry about the lack of response. I have not worked on onlock in a while. Mainly because I have just been too busy. I also have a 6800 now, and I dont use onlock. The attached zip has the source and the latest build. You need visual studio to build it. If I have time soon to work on it I will try. Some of the problems such as the problem with push are not easy for me to troubleshoot because I dont use push. Also my lack of windows programming knowledge is one thing that bogged this project down for me. Thanks for all of the comments. If you make changes to the code report it here. If I have time I will try to work with you guys.

Oops, looks like the source is too big to be posted here. If you want it, pm me your email address and I can send it to you.

I found out bug, when Auto-suspend timer was set (to suspend when lock wasn't removed). This timer was counting down even when incoming phone call was picked up and will cause suspend phone during phone call. Also was timer was counting down during incoming call (not answered yet).

this the current version?

Tip to the author: Please make a static page somewhere (googlepages if you don't want to pay for hosting) or upload this software to freewareppc.com or the like. It's very difficult to find information out about this (excellent) software when it only exists in some ethereal forum threads.

Anyway, do we know where to obtain the latest version? I love slide2unlock but it's just too RAM hungry so I need to go back to onlock but I didn't know where its "home" was.

thanks
