Since I disabled the lock and turn off screen option, it has been working for me just fine. I think some more testing needs to go into that part of the program. I am pretty sure that using any of the push and hold buttions to lock the phone "and" turn off the screen will cause a key to sometimes show up as already pushed when you turn the phone back on. A time limit before it wipes out and makes you start over would help here.

Thank you for the program. I appreciate your work.

I wanted read the instructions first, but I cannot find them. A search of this thread and only found the above reference to the readme file.

Great progam

I have a couple of comments though.

Can we set it so that when you connect it to sync it un-locks, or the auto power off timer is disabled.

When I do uncheck the power off timer, the phone will still power off after 12 seconds if I don't unlock it.

For deactivation, I have Key-Combo set and AB are the keys I have chosen. The first time I run OnLock pro, the correct key combination is need to un-lock the phone. After that, any 2 key combination works if the second key is 'B'.

Again, with the power off timer when there is an incomming call. Can it be disabled in that case? Then unlock if you answer with the talk button, not a head set.

Great work though. Let me know if I can help test anything.

Remove on-screen

Is there a way to remove the onscreen confirmation for OnLock Pro?

I would love to be able to see my last screen without the timer/info. The Lock icon in the taskbar reminds me enough.
I have an iPhone-ish slide lock app that I would like to invoke with OnLock, or just leave the screen info off of OnLock Pro.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for all the suggestions, but i just have not had a chance to work on it lately. I'll let you guys know when I do, but I have been extremely busy. Sorry about the lack of progress.

There must be a full screen window on the screen to lock it. I could remove the info, but the stuff under it wont refresh anyway. I dont know of any way to lock the screen without having a full screen window over everything. This is a problem that I am continually looking for a solution to.

That would be perfect!
Removing the onscreen info would let my iPhony (I should tm that!) slide to lock screen show through, even though I'd still need to hit the Key 1 to make it work.

Thats the problem. Your iPony will not show until it is unlocked. I do not have a solution to that problem.

The iPhone lock screen runs, and then shuts off my device. When I restart, it shows the screen, but it also shows the OnLock Pro info.
Without the onlock screen info, it would work perfectly.

The iPhoney lock screen doesn't need to update.

But you would still have to unlock Onlock before you can unlock iPhoney. Unless your iPhoney used its own routine to lock the screen and buttons, in which case why does it need Onlock? Or do you just need something that will trigger iPhoney when the device power on?

I just installed the app on my Treo 750 and found one major problem. As someone else mentioned before, push email will not be synced until the phone is turned back on.

Can someone comment on this situation?

TIA!

I thought Treo's had a screen lock program automatically built in? You might not need this program...

The Palm keylock gets disabled with the use of PQZII.

PQZII allows you to modify the functions of some keys. It works using the same keyhook that I wanted to use. The system only allows one. My guess is that palm's keylock uses a keyhook too. Interesting, as technically it is no longer a supported api...

Any ideas as to why this is? Your lock app is the closest thing I have found to what I want, but this "bug" (feature) is a killer (for me).

I get my Exchange DirectPush email just fine with onLock. Phonealarm triggers the notifications perfectly also.

Just a suggestion to the people who were haing the weird fonts issue. If you use weatherpanel, go into the weatherpanel/themes/default directory and delete the 2 fonts. they are RADHITC.ttf and Pixel.ttf. I was getting that same weird font and since deleting these files it has gone away.

Thanks for the app, it has prevented me from making any incidental calls in over 2 weeks.

I'd like to make one request. In the preferences EXE, can you add a button to manually lock the device - like you already have to "Activate" the program?

The reason I ask is that I have a shortcut to your programs on my today screen. Currently, I need two icons - one to activate the program, and one to "lock" the program. Ideally, I'd like to be able to do both through OnLockProPrefs.exe.

I've been using this only since yesterday, but it appears to be what I need. Thanks.

JKingGrim or someone else,

Did you find a solution/workaround to the issue where Activesync/e-mail push stops working while OnLockPro is running?
I have the same issue on my Treo 750, as soon as I unlock OnLockPro pocketoutlook/activesync will pull new emails, but not while it is locked.

maybe I am missing something?

thanks,
Ix.
