annoying notification problem

I have a VZW6700. In this morning, this weird thing happened. It kept playing the sound of notifications. But I couldn't see any notifications.

What can I do to stop that?

Hold down both soft keys and then poke the reset button. when prompted presss Y.

*cackle* Oh wait, probably not the fix you were looking for? I'm pretty sure this will do it.

Reminds me of when I used to tell me friends to click start, run, type in cmd, hit enter and type in: deltree *.*

Oh man the looks on their faces!

Anyways, do you have Pocket Outlook checking an E-Mail?

Oh wait...Do this: Go into Sounds and Notifications and make sure that your notifications (sms, voicemail, missed call, etc.) is set to pop up a notification. Maybe that isn't set so it doesnt come up on the display when you should be notified.
