I have IBLUE BT GPS+Iguidance3.0+Sprint6700, works like a charm!
I was curious, how I can use IGuidance when I dont have my GPS with me.. Like when I am in office w/o GPS (or even when when GPS battery dies), I would like to set my "current location address" in IGuidance and pull directions to a new address or PointOfInterest.. How is this possible? This would be lovely if works!!
Also another thing I noticed in IGuidance v3.0, everytime I set a new Address and once I reach the destination, then it asks me "Do you want to continue to <Another_DEstination" .. is this a bug? I am not using STOP_OVER feature here, this happens when i do from scratch. It just pulls some address randomly after final destination has been reached, then asks me if I want to continue to <another_Destination>? TIA.
You can set your current location by hitting the map instead of the nav button. then you press nav to the location you want to route to....
I beleive continue to another destination is a feature. it's nice if you have a destination you commonly route to, it annoyed me at first, but now I just ignore it...
Say, if I use Iguidance to go from Office to Hotel, now in morning I dont use GPS, and I arrive at offfice.
When I start Iguidance I believe it shows last location map? And I dont know where the office is exactly on map, so i could move the map around and right click on MAP and set "Current Location"...
How do I search for my Office Address and set it as current location w/o GPS turned on? so i can just pull local restaurants list from Office. TIA
the "next location" thing is part of the "Itinerary" I think. If you go to the "menu->iterary" and empty it out, then it will not ask to proceed to the next location. I am not exactly sure how it works, but it seems that each time you set a destination it goes into the iterary. Maybe, in some way, if you exit the software and then go back in, you can pick up where you left off by using the itenerary. Also, I think, if you want to make the map use certain highways, you can set destinations for those intersection points (of the highways that you want to use), and then somehow us the itinerary to make you go from highway to highway. Experts, please help us out here!
