ok i have this problem with my IE on my ppc 6700. it wont let me go to any webisites. It gives me this error where it says that the webiste is incorrect not valid, try agine. Any solutions on that?? i did the soft reset and called cost serv and i dont think they know what they r doing. please help

anyone?? please fix this post if its posted in the wrong forum

Have you moved the temp internet files, cookies and history to a storage card? Do you have PIE set to act as IE 6.0?

no i dont have a storage card, I just bought this thing last week, amybe i ahve deleted soem files?? i was cleaning some folders. I dont think i have pie i dont even know what that is lol

PIE=Pocket Internet Explorer. My apologies.

What files/folders did you delete? Does everything else seem to work?

gosh i dont remember just bunch of junk i guess. But yeah is a PIE. when i enter any website it tells me that the website is not valid, and it doesnt tries to connect to internet, but the phone has connection i checked.

I'd probably say that you've deleted something that you shouldn't have to. Without a reliable backup (which I am assuming you do not have...Activesync unfortunately does not do a good backup of the device, unlike Palms...) then you are probably going to be forced to try a hard reset

hard reset, I had to.

thx guys thats what i did to fix the problem hard reset it works now. I lost some software and i dont know how to get it back. they are the once that i ahve paid for. My acct says that i ahve none 0 but i bought 2 programs before the reset.
