How do get music from CDs onto PPC-6700

How do I get music CDs onto the PPC-6700 to play there with WMP? I know I did it years ago with my Axim (I thought I had used WMP on the PC to convert the CD's and then loaded to the device but I can't figure out how to do it now). A link with the info is fine. Thank you.

Well you could first rip the CD using WMP on your computer and then active sync and copy over the files.

I couldn't think of the term "rip" to know what to look for in WMP. Thanks. Now that I've ripped them, I am having a hard time getting the names of the files (albums/artists,etc.) to appear in the playlists of files available to sync (I have added them to library but they just don't appear).

Are you using a storage card for this? If so just find the folder you ripped (probably in my documents my music) on your PC and copy the folder, then, using activesync paste the folder to the location you want on your storage card (probably my documents my music). After pasting the folder go to WMP on the phone and update your library. Then go to library, storage card, music, album and viola there it will be. If you are not using a storage card dont do this--it takes up too much space.
