How is memory allocated in this device.

Do you have the option to save files/install program files to the sd card?

Most 3rd party programs can be saved to the SD card. Certain ones (Today screen plugins) will not work this way. Also, some programs mus still install a part of the program in device memory in order to function, even if you select "storage card" as the medium for installation.
