PIE Keeps Crashing

So I did a hard reset about 2 weeks ago to clean everything up and start fresh. Everything has been working great and have not had any issues with any programs over the past 2 weeks. I have barely had to do any soft resets.

This morning I went to use PIE and when I attempt to go to a website it closes PIE automatically. This happens for every site I attempt to go to. Nothing has changed with my 6700 and I have not installed any new programs. I have tried a few soft resets and that has not helped. I have a backup from the other day, but SunnySoft restores are a little touchy and I would rather not do a hard reset/restore unless I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO!

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

Bryan

Are you storing your IE cache files on your storage card? If so, move it back to the main memory and you'll be fine.

That sucks. It was working fine with the files being stored on the card...Oh well, I guess I'll have to live with it.

Thanks

clear you cache memory

I have this same problem occasionally. Here is what you do. Stop the browser from trying to bring up the start page, right after you start PID. Then goto Menu>Tools>Option>Memory tab, and clear your cache. Then it'll work.

With this you can still keep the cache on the storage card.

Yeah, I did try this a few times, but it kept crashing. I've got a good 12MB free so I guess I'll be fine...for now
