Anyone able to connect to GTalk (Google Talk) using IM+ or Agile?
I'm having problems connecting to GTalk on both IM+ (newest version 4.22, registered) and Agile Messenger (old free version AMST-WMPPC-5).
I thought perhaps Agile had locked out the free versions of their software, but it'll still connect me just fine to AIM and ICQ. Same with IM+, the AIM/ICQ protocols work but GTalk keeps giving me an "authorization failed, check login and password" error. And yes, I've double-checked that I'm entering my password correctly.
Any ideas? If people are able to get into GTalk using either of these programs, please let me know what versions you're running.

I use IM+ with GTalk with no problems. I did get that error one time when I first set up and the resolution was to add @gmail.com to my user name.

Thanks for the replies guys. dbrummels, do you happen to have the CAB for that version of Agile? I was thinking a reinstall might solve things, but I've lost the installer. FalseIdol, I had it that way (even tried without the @gmail.com) and I still get the error.
The only thing I can think of is I recently changed my GMail password - but I of course made the same change in these chat programs, and even tried removing the GTalk account entirely in Agile.
Here's a little extra info from Shape Services (IM+):
Quote:
What settings should I use to connect to Google Talk?
Login: Your e-passport, which you've received after the registration for this service (e.g.: "shape.public@gmail.com")
Password: Your Google Talk password (e.g.: "testerim")
Host: By default it is talk.google.com.
Port: Standard Google port is 5223
Encoding: This option is not available in Google Talk
SSL: Your message session will be encrypted if enabling this option. Google talk traffic is encrypted by default, so you can't change this option manually.
I don't recall changing the port, but your version may be different...
