You need to have Java installed first--I use IBM's J9. After that, you can install the .jad file using the Java emulator utility. J9 has a menu option to install them--you type in the path and it installs.

I installed opera without java and have had no problems. What is the advantage of getting java for it?

I am fairly sure that Opera Mini doesn't even support navigation with the stylus as it is designed for phones not PDAs

Didn't Opera recently go free?

Oh wow...You do have to buy it.

But it's only $24...

You are referring to Opera for Window Mobile which is a WM application that does not require Java. This is a commercial product.

Opera Mini is a Java application and needs a Java environment present in order to run. Opera Mini is free.

If you have a WM5 PPC device, you'll have soft keys. These will be used by Opera Mini for navigation.

I am aware of that, however the 6700 is a PDA phone with a touch screen. Why limit your self to JUST button navigation.. Opera Mobile offers both.

If you want to be cheap then fine, go through the trouble of finding, and installing a JVM, install Opera Mobile and enjoy your button only browsing.

@Lazybones,

I realize what you are saying. I was only offerring information based on the post. It's not about being cheap--it's just information. Besides I thnk NetFront is better than Opera Mobile anyway.
