I bought this phone recently and added the ROM update and just added MSVC as well. I have a BT headset that works fine to initiate a MSVC phone call or command. The problem is, once I turn off the BT device by folding it in half, the 6700 will not work on its own via MSVC. I can hit the button to activate it on the 6700 and the little microphone shows up and beeps at me, but it won't accept any voice command. Even the "help" command is ignored. It appears that once I use the BT with MSVC, the 6700 only looks for BT input for MSVC. I see the little headphone icon on the phone display go away when I fold up the BT headset. I did a soft-reset and the phone worked again without using the BT.

I have searched and founds lots of info that got me to this point of it almost working perfectly, but I'm not quite there. Has anyone run into this and found a workaround?

I am having the same problem. I am using a BT motorola headset. i push the muti use button on the headset, it activates MSVC, the microphone flashes on the screen, but it will not accept my commands, like it cant hear me. Any ideas?
