how do I sync my settings and programs from old to replacement 6700??

I just got a replacement ppc-6700 from sprint and I assumed that I could sync it with my old settings and programs like I did with my Treos and replacement Treos.

I'm not seeing any way to do this other than establishing a new syncing relationship with the device.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to get all my old settings, programs, etc. on the new device?

Thanks in advance.

You would have to restore a backup if you wanted to get all of your settings. In AS you can reinstall all of the programs that you installed via AS under Tools,Add/remove programs. Your contacts, calendar and email would synch up when you created the new partnership.

Ok I was able to install Sprite Backup. Had to use Pocket Controller to do most of it as my screen is cracked and it's really hard to use the phone now.

I assume all I have to do is install Sprite Backup on the new phone and run the app again.

Sprite will allow you to make self installing files if you set up the backup with the create self-extracting files option checked. If you do this you should not have to install Sprite on the new device. The file will do it for you.
Good luck. Sprite Is AN AWESOME PROGRAM!
