Go to Start -> Settings -> Phone...

The voicemail # is at top...at the end of your voicemail # add the following with no quotes "ppYOURPIN"....for example 1234567890pp1234

The "p"s are pauses...for me 2 works fine...you might need to add more or less depending how fast voicemail picks up for you...

Forgot one thing...This only dials the pin when you bring up the phone app and how down "1" for speeddial voicemail...

If you get the popup message that you have voicemail and click the option to dial it from the popup then it will NOT dial the pin...still not sure how to get the pin working there...

That's funny. Mine is set up under phone settings as *86ppPIN# and it works when I press for the voicemail pop up as long as I am near home area code.

I also set up a contact for voicemail with 1+phone numberppPIN# and assigned it a speed dial location for when I am traveling.

I find it amazing that Verizon is so obsolete in programming in this regard.

Using Sprint, whenever I dial my 10 digit number from wherever I am (no "1" required anywhere in the US) using my Sprint phone I go right to voicemail without dialing a PIN. I think that there is a setting within voicemail that I can change to require it, but by default, no PIN is required when dialing from the mobile phone.

Maybe Verizon has something in their VM system that you can change to make this easier also?

You should ALWAYS have a pin on your voicemail....All wireless carriers have some well know security holes that allow ANYONE to access your voicemail if you do not have a pin...
