battery draining faster than normal

the past two days my battery has been draining really quickly. the wifi mode is off and even when I turn off phone mode it still drains fast. last night it was at fifty percent and when I woke up it was dead. the phone part was turned off then too.

anyone know what I can do to stop this?

Did you install any over clocking tools or other apps recently? Sounds like a bad battery or you have a bad app that is preventing the CPU from entering its low power mode.

well I just talked on the phone for just a couple minutes and the battery went from 50% to 20%.

I have talked on the phone before for almost two hours without trouble so I know it used to work fine.

if it is just a bad battery can I get a newone without shipping my phone to sprint? I have the insurance (the one where you have to ship it, not have it worked on in the store). also I have had the phone for less than a month.
