I assume you are trying to use the MS Money sync program for the PPC...I looked at it last week, and it is old is the hills. It still says for PPC 2002/2003. I was very surprised to see it syncs to Money 2006.

I personally just bought Money 2005 from Amazon for $9.99 out the door, no rebates, etc. So little is changed each year in terms of features, so 2005 will do the job just fine.

As far as synching....I don't use the crummy MS PPC Money sync program....I am trying out SPB Finance. The new version syncs with Money (although I don't think 2007 is doable yet).

BTW, MS Money 2007 is already out? Is it heavily based on .net online verification as 2006 is? That's incredibly annoying to have to sign into .net before you do anything. What if your internet doesn't work? That's why I got 2005. Does what I need it to do for next to no expense.

You can use .net if you want depending on how its configured, but I don't. I have 2003, 2005 and 2006 and they all have worked the same way for me, no external login needed. In fact, to be honest, except for a few minor cosmetic changes, I don't see much difference between 2003 and 2006 Money. I won;'t upgrade to 2007 unless there's something really interesting about it.

Here's how it typically works with MS Money and the PPC/WM version. Microsoft releases the new version of Money with slight feature upgrades and minor cosmetic changes. A few months later (towards the end of the year, or early next year) Microsoft will release the PocketPC/Windows Mobile version of the application.
