possible to use wifi connection for "as new items arrive" syncing schedule??
I have an Exchange account that I sync manually when I find a WiFi connection (the data plan is way too expensive for me). This works fine: I find a WiFi connection, open ActiveSync, and tap Sync. It would be nice for it to auto-sync when the device connects via WiFi, but doing it manually the first time is no big deal. As I'm going through my new mail (WiFi connection still active) I can see the WiFi icon change to show that its syncing to update my Exchange account as I'm reading, deleting, and moving e-mails. However, I find that ActiveSync is trying to connect but it says that with my current schedule (As Items Arrive) a cellular Internet connection is required. But, then I tap Sync and it goes ahead and syncs. I'm assuming that if I had the data plan, it would be syncing as I'm reading e-mails. So, I guess my question is: is there a way to have it work like I have a data plan and sync as I read/delete/move e-mails. It just seems stupid that the connection is there, but I have to manually press sync. It would be nice to eliminate that second Sync tap when I'm finished.
Any help would be appreciated - thanks!
