Searched forum and haven't found an answer.

Phone doesn't seem to allow removal of email accounts post creation. I misnamed an email account (named POP3) and I also discovered my MSN and HOTMAIL accounts were duplicative so I want to remove one of them (MSN created account, HOTMAIL came with phone).

How do I remove them?

I am having the same problem. In another forum, I read that it was a glitch of WM 5.

There's no glitch. In messaging go to Tools > Options > Accounts Tab
click and hold on the account that you want to delete.

Why isn't this is in a sticky?!

is anyone having their accounts dissappear every month or so? I will get mine all set up an then after a soft reset(long after the phone had written them into memory) I will have my two pop3 gmail accounts gone, but when I try to add an account of the same name it tells me the account exists even though I can't access it.

yes it is a very well known issue... a hard reset fixes it

hmmmmm how does this fix it? i did a hard reet and it seemed to only fix it for a season and the problem just came back. i guess i am surprised this is a problem many are having since i have searched extensively for a fix and others who have had the same problem. thanks

it fixes it by fully deleting the accounts so you can use the same names, there doesn't seem to be a fix for the problem just a fix for getting they account deleted
