One reader comment on Engadget is upset that it doesn't work with Parallels but I can't figure out why that would be a concern.

Looks like i might have to give this a try...i have an intel imac right now so i can run windows on it, i just hate having to reboot into windows every time i want sync my 6700. My only concern with MS 2.5 is its ability to install exe files. Mac's dont use exe files to install and on the missing sync page it says that it will install cab files but im not sure if it will install the programs that must use a self installer...

Just downloaded Missing Sync 2.5 for Windows Mobile (you can get a 14 day trial at versiontracker). It was a pain to set up, and now that its set up I realized it doesnt support tethering. So after feeling all the excitement with the release of the new missing sync I have to go back to my 5 minute internet connections with my macbook.

I have been using the 2.5 Missing Sync product for a few weeks now and after some fits and starts find that syncing with Entourage to be flawless. My syncs take less than a minute for calendar, task and contact updates.

I use push email, so I don't find the fact that email doesn't sync a limitation.

You don't need any third party app to tether with a macbook/powermac. Plenty of info on here on how to do it.
