do I need to worry as my storage memory falls below 10meg?

I know on a pc, when my storage space falls below 10%, things begin to slow down. I was wondering if the same thing is applicable here? I am at 20% (9.5 of 43.5 mb) and was wondering if I need to begin to be conservative with installed applications. Thanks in advance! RS

In a nutshell, yes. However, that doesn't mean you will necessarily see poor performance if your storage goes below 10MB... I'd be concerned when it gets down to around 1 - 2MB as there is no margin for anything.

Wow - I don't think I've ever had 10MB free! I run between 5 and 8 all the time and I don't think it's slowing me down at all. - sheureka

Is there any way to delete programs you don't use, like the Audible player, Voice Speed Dial, and the like?

a couple of things I have done to conserve space:

1.) Moved all folders in \Windows\AppMgr\ to my storage card. The individual folders can be moved back to the original directory, if and when I want to uninstall a specific program. NOTE: Do not move the folder called "install". I reclaimed over a Mb of space by doing this.

2.) You can do the same with the IOTA folder. You really only need the contents of this folder if you are programming your Vision.

There are other things I've done as well, such as delete templates and picture files installed in the My Documents folder.

Steps to take:

Empty internet explorer cache
Delete old email and email sitting "deleted items" folders for each account
Install apps to the storage card (not today screen plug ins)
Delete stuff you don't use like Software Store, Audible, etc.
