what are default registry setting for left softkey? i messed up!

i tried this hack and couldnt get it to work. it now changed my left softkey to the word phone and opns the phone. how do i get it back to the way it was with calander?

To change the softkeys on the Today screen

The left-hand softkey settings are at 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112', the right-hand softkey

settings are at 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\113'

The 'Default' string value can be changed to whatever text you wish to have displayed

The 'Open' string value can be changed to the program you wish to run when the softkey is pressed

For example, to change the left-hand softkey to start the Messaging program (text messages and emails) you would set:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112\(Default) = Messaging
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112\Open = \windows\tmail.exe

what exactly should be listed under the following

'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112

also, is there such thing as

'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\113

i never seemed to notice it.

so what exactly is under the keys file so i can put it back to the way it was

113 isn't there unless you create it. Creating it overrides the default. As far as what's there normally, I'm not really sure but you should have a key named 112.. then under that you should have two string values, one with "Default" in the "name" field.. one with "Open" in the name field. Just enter in whatever you want the key to display as the "Data" and DO NOT change the Name. Same goes for the other string value.. it should have the name "Open" and then under "Data" you should have what you want to run when you tap the key. entering "tmail.exe" in said blank would launch text messaging. If you want it to launch the camera, let's say.. You would enter "Camera" in the Data field under Default.. then enter "windows\camera.exe" for the data under "Open". I'm not sure how much better I could explain the hack than that, so if you're still having problems I'm not sure what to tell you.
