should I buy OEM battery? what is correct procedure for swapping battery? lose data??

I decided to buy another battery for my xv6700 as while on vacation I ran low too many times and could not charge immediately. Should I buy the same battery that came with the unit? Also, If I change the battery will I lose data while doing it? What is the correct procedure for swapping out the batteries while in use or not in use?

there are a couple of companies here who have extended batteries for sale and theres plenty of threads discussing those batteries.
no you will not lose any data while changing batteries.

the procedure to change batteries is in your manual that came with your phone. if you dont have the manual it is online here. but basically, just turn the screen off and swap the battery. there is nothing to it. you dont even have to turn the screen off if you dont want. there is not right or wrong way to do it...

If you want to use the stock battery cover you basically have 2 choices, the standard 1350mAh or the aftermarket 1500mAh.
