recommendation for automatic/scheduled profile switching software for 6700??

Can someone please recommend software that I can schedule to set the phone to vibrate / mute sound during certain days and hours and then reset at a different time?

I'd like the phone to know auto-set the volume when I typically start work and reset back to loud when I typically finish.

I've also read about GPS and cell tower software that can tell where it's at and do this or other things but you need extra hardware for GPS and the cell tower ID stuff I saw was for a Treo.

I have searched the forums, freeppcsoftware, etc. but I'm still having trouble finding what I need.

Thank you!

Check out PhoneAlarm...I haven't used it, but others have eluded the profile functionality allowing you to set different settings for ring volume, etc.

I use phoneAlarm and it works great, you can control all features of the phone in the different profiles, from having it turn on your bluetooth to having all calls forwarded. it also has the ability to switch to a profile when you enter a scheduled appointment

For the PhoneAlarm users...I've read PA was resource hog even at the current install size. I already have Pocket Plus and Spb Diary loaded on the Today screen and am hesitant to add another. What has been your experience??

Well I downloaded it today and have been trying it all day. I have Weatherpanel on my Today screen, and now Phone Alarm. I have not noticed any slowdowns, etc. Phone alarm seems to work great!

Both PhoneAlarm and PhoneAlarm Lite use the same source code now. More specifically, PhoneAlarm was re-written in 1.5 with Lite's code so they're both lighter and faster.

I use Lite b/c I don't need the other functions but 1.52 runs great: no slowdowns, no issues whatsoever (it's been good since 1.0 imo).

I've been using PA for a little over a month. It really has made my life easier. In the latest version there's a setting that lets you schedule how long it takes to load PA to your today screen. I have mine set at 6 seconds. The rest of the 6700 stuff load real fast, then this loads last.

I tested loading PA to the storage card with this setting enabled and I've never had a problem. I keep it there now!

If more Today Screen plugins let you delay their startup there probably wouldn't be any DSOD problems!
