Keyboard LED colors!!!

I just got my replacement phone after cracking the LCD on my 1st 6700. I noticed that the lights on the keyboard are now blue and I cannot see the secondary keys (!,@,# etc) as it is too dark. On my previous phone the LED light was red and I could see everything. Any way to fix this?

Nope. They changed from a white (which illuminated the alt characters in red) to a blue backlight. The blue doesn't properly illuminate the alt characters.

You will have to live with it, unfortunately, unless you can find a Sprint store with a 6700 that has the older red Sprint logo, which also has the white backlight.

Also, a search for keyboard backlight on this forum will yield lots of posts discussing this issue.

Ductape it! It will be silver!
Sorry it's late and I am disturbed

There is some info on LED swaps online, google I think LED swap PPC-6700, but I am not shure.

I wouldn't do it!
