Feature That We NEED! - Automatic Mode Switching triggered by Appointments

Well, some of us anyway...

The Q has some profile switching feature that basically does this: When you have an appointment scheduled for a certain time, the Q will automatically switch to silent/vibrate mode. When the appointement is done, it switches back. This is an extremely convenient feature that would be nice on the 6700.

Perhaps this feature is already available through a third party app. If so, let me know.

Hell, I'd be happy with a hardware mode switch like the G1000 had. You could set 3 modes (Outdoor, Office, silent, etc.) and switch between them instantly.

It'd be nice to have it natively too, but I suppose shelling out another $20 for a third party app isn't too bad.

Malatesta,

Can you provide a link to the O2Plus software? I'd like to check it out.

Thanks!

Send a message via AIM to chspyder1

O2 Plus really bucked up my ppc, I was running SPB pocket plus, and this is the exact same thing, not to mention, the ppc takes almost 1 minuet to boot after this crap was installed, after uninstalling it did not get better, I do NOT reccomend you try this stuff.
