The camera application on my XV6700 seems to be running at random times. Sometimes, when I turn the phone on, the camera will already be running. The same thing has happened when the phone turns itself on to check POP email. It isn't happening consistently so I can't really start to track down what's causing it. I've never seen the camera start running for no reason while the phone was already on, this only happens when the phone is turned on. I never use the camera (since the quality is usually pretty bad) so I know it's not that I accidentally left it on.

Has anybody else seen this?

Are you sure you are not pressing the camera button accidentally? You might want to lock the buttons when the phone is in standby.

I do have the option set to lock all buttons except the power button when the device is off. I'm pretty sure it's not that I'm accidentally pressing the camera button as well. But yea, those were the first things I thought of too.
