I just got this phone a few days ago, and it is upgreaded to the latest Sprint Software. The issue I am having is:

When the phone is in the unlocked state(I only lock it when I put it in my pocket) some times when I tap the screen or any of the buttons, nothing would happen. But if I slide the keyboard out, it would light up and I can use it.

In the craddle however, it will work everytime I touch the screen, it will come on. I tried it full charged with the same results.


Also once yesterday, the backlighting would not come on, but I can barely see the screen and used it to access the Back light settings, as soon as I got to that screen and use the stylus to tap on the "Turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped". The check mark was there before.


Is this a common issue, and is there any solutions for this? I tried searching without any related fixes.
