Pocket Excel: How do you make a template open as the default new file?
So I'm using Pocket Excel and it's fine and good and nice and swell, but it defaults to a bigger font size than I need. If I set it to a font size of 8, that's very readable and I can actually fit enough stuff in a simple spreadsheet to make it useful.
So I didn't see a way to set the default font size to 8, so I thought I'd make a template, which is the same as the default new file, only every cell's formatted as font size 8.
So I make this file and save it in the Templates folder, next to the Vehicle Mileage Log. Then I go to options to change "Template for new workbook" to my new template file
...but it's not an option. The Mileage Log is there as an option, but my newly created template isn't.
So what's so special about that Mileage Log? I want to default to MY template. It's better. Closing the program (that's closing, not minimizing), then reopening, didn't make any difference, and a soft reset didn't make any difference.
So how do I make it use MY template?
Chris
