Need "Test Vibrate" Program

The vibrate function on my phone has become unreliable. I have read the threads here and am sure the options are set correctly. It just doesn't always work. I tried the trick of placing a piece of folded paper between the battery cover and battery and that has helped some (improved reliability from 20% to 60%). I believe this to be either a design defect or a flaw in my unit.

What I would really like is a program where I can test the vibrate feature (e.g. click here to cause the phone to vibrate). That way at least I can tell if it's on the blink or not. Anybody know of a program that does this, or if it is an easy program to write? Thanks.

You could try the vibrating phone keys thing. You'd be dialing the phone to make the device vibrate. Actually, this function is so cool that you should probably be using it anyway.

Do a search for "vibrating keys".

Great idea! And you're right, in addition to now letting me know when the vibration has gone on the blink, this is just cool.

You could always press the phone button, right soft key, and options. This will bring you to the settings screen where you are able to change ringtones. Press the play button to see if its working...
