Is there a way to disable the phone radio and still have BT work? I'm traveling to Europe (where CDMA coverage is non-existant) and I want to use my BT GPS without the phone radio being on (so I'm not annoyed every few seconds about not being able to find service). TomTom keeps reporting that I'm in flight mode and won't talk to the GPS unit (even though the blue light for BT is blinking.) All I've done is go into the wireless manager and turned off the phone radio while leaving the BT radio active, even when I tap on the phone icon on the menu it asks if I want to put the phone into flight mode, which would tell me that the radio is off, but not in flight mode.

Any suggestions?

as far as i know, in order to use bluetooth gps with tom tom, the phone has to be on.
