Hello,

I am looking to pick up a bluetooth car kit. I have a Pioneer AVIC-N2 navigation system but I understand that Pioneer does not make a bluetooth adapter for it.

I am looking for a car kit that has a speaker (unless someone knows how to incorporate it into the AVIC-N2) and a cool display but most of all sounds good on the XV-6700. Like most, I have had volume problems with my headset.

So I am not sure about the best, but I have the Parrot 3300GPS. The only downside to it (now after the update) is that there is a newer version out with a color screen and built in GPS antenna (as opposed to mine that is mounted on my roof). All in all it is a great setup. The wiring harness is no big deal if you take your time and advisably build a harness so you do not have to chop into your factory set (I ordered a male and female radio connector from an audio shop).

Or if you don't want to mess with all of that and you don't want to run GPS then try the drive blue. Here is a CNET video on it.

The one that I've been installing is the Tellphone systems. Their website is www.tellphone.com. Great products.

I have the Tellphone 4000 Blue in my car and I love it. Everyone says they can hear me crystal clear, and its likewise hearing them. Displays caller ID, voicedial, number dial, all the goodies. Im happy with it.

Are any of these recommended for convertibles?

If I could get BT speakerphone functionality in my Z4 that worked with the top-down driving, that would be the ultimate.
