I installed GSPlayer to listen to streaming radio. It'll do it, but it doesn't seem to drive opening of the data connection by itself. The only way I've been able to get it to work is to first open the connection (either WiFi or EVDO, via PIE) and the stream will then play, but it never opens the stream by itself. Is this normal? Is there a way to get GSPlayer to start the connection if it's not already started?

I use a number of software apps that require me to manually
open the web browser or active sync to get the conneion started.

Oh, is that what the problem is? Lol, what a dummy! I thought I had to open IE first, and tune into the station each time! oops!

but yes, a fix would be nice.
