program to connect PC to 6700 over Bluetooth to do SMS??
is there a program i can run on my windows computer, to connect to my phone via bluetooth and send sms? (i have the jeyo compainion but i have to connect the phone to the computer via cable)
There are some sites that allow you to send free sms messages via the web. A quick Google search will turn up several. You can even send them straight from the sprint web page.

i've searched for some, but none were REALLY free
I have unlimited text on my phone, and want to be able to send and receive(send to my phone number) using the keyboard on my computer
maybe i'm off the mark here, but why aren't u just sending an email to <phonenumber>@vtext.com or <phonenumber>@ sprintpcs.com or to whatever carrier u r sending to?
Also, i see you are on verizon, how about just using the verizon website that you can log in to and use to send txt messages. I know this doesn't answer your question, but maybe its an alternative if you can't find an answer to your question.
What is the benefit to doing it how you are trying to? Do the sms responses go to your phone, and you veiw them there too, but then type your sms's on the computer and send through USB/bluetooth? is that the point? I'd just as soon do the email way on my computer, then all messages are sent/rec'd in my email.
edit: o i take it back, i'm guessing one benefit is just send to the phone number, don't need to know what to put after @, like if you don't know which carrier your recipient is on...

By the way, is there any way to figure it out? Any service out there that can determine what carrier a particular number is on?
