Phone often not charging

Hello,

I have 2 different charging units and 2 different mini-usb cables all of which have the same issue - they don't always charge the phone. It has become more apparent lately. I'll plug in the phone and the amber light stays off. Sometimes if I jiggle the cable it will come on.

I'm guessing the connector in the bottom of my phone has become loose. I was just curious how many other people are having this issue.

I have the same problem. If you look at the power screen, the battery will register unknown. I found that if you soft reset while in plugged in it will sometimes fix the problem better than turning off the power and plugging it in. What is really annoying is that if the problem persists, you won't be able to use bluetooth of wifi because it perceives that there is not enough power to run them.

Many of the cheap third party chargers are less than 500ma, while the 6700 charger is 1000ma or 1 amp, most are useless trying to charge with the radio or any other thing running.

I have seen the generic 6700/Razor chargers from three popular companies, as well as all the chargers, wall. car, wall to cigarette lighter, from Wal-Mart, all of them are pretty much useless as chargers with out the device being completely off.
