I've got a 3 hour car ride today during the 12:15 baseball games. It would be great to get updates on my PDA... anyone?

I don't know if you're aware of this, but you can listen to the games on your 6700 with Live Baseball Browser if you subscribe to mlb.com or on xm radio which carries all home team radio broadcasts.

You can watch 'em on the PPC with LBB, too. EVDO isn't fast enough for that, though -- only works with WiFi.

Right - I don't live in an EVDO area so the best I can do on the road is 1x which means radio only. Too bad that EVDO isn't fast enough for the video feed.

I don't believe you can listen to xm's mlb broadcasts online through desktop or ppc - MLB radio has exclusive carrier rights for radio braodcasts and you can only catch a game through MLB's website (paid subscription).

Is there any sports sites that have RSS feeds to just sports scores.

Then with an RSS reader with a Today screen plugin, the scores can scroll on the Today screen.
