PIM that uses & syncs contacts on mSD card?
I have searched and the other threads on storing contacts on the storage card are for use as a back up. What I am seeking is a way to keep and use pim.vol (or a replacement) on the storage card.
My pim.vol file was 11 MB so I copied it to my storage card, then renamed it to pim-old, and then rebooted. A new much smalled pim.vol was created and I was able to delete the big pim-old file from device memory. I turned off contact syncing in Active Sync. So I no longer get those critical storage memory is low warning messages.
But now I cannot access my contacts. Is there a way to point the POutlook program to look for a pim.vol mfile on the storage card? I realize such a pim.vol file stored on the card would not be updated unless done manually unless there is also a hack for ActiveSync.
If POutlook cannot be made to do this, other there other PIM programs that would use pim.vol on a storage card? Even better are there any that would also sync a pim.vol file on the storage card with PC's Outlook?
