Ok, I'll give it a fair shot. Its up against some competition from Opera. Opera does have some downfalls though. It does get slow and unresponsive sometimes. On the other hand, opera does have some huge advantages, and a new version will be out by the end of the month to address many problems and feature requests. I will have to weight the advantages of each. Cost is on the side of PIE+ though.
My own experience with Opera is that it was way too slow and buggy to cost anything. Perhaps they are fixing that. I've been playing with PIE2 for the last 30 mins, and it is the best browser I've had on my XV6700.
I'm trialing as well and really like many of the features. I've yet to get multiple tabs working, though. Every time I try to add a new tab it seems to close the first one, even though my PIEPlus options are set to "Visible tab count" of 5 and "Display new tab" "next to current tab". Are multiple tabs working for others?
is anyone else's address bar disappearing? I can't get it to come back. changed view, full screen settings, uninstalled, restarted, nothing will get it back.
When I click on the link from my device, it just pulls up a scrambled page. If anyone could send the file, it'll be greatly appreciated.
If you are clicking the link on your 6700 and getting the scrambled page, let it finish loading, then check your temporary internet files folder for the .cab. Should find it there and be able to install using that.

Go to Options > Screen and make sure the option to show the address bar is checked.

Tabs are working for me. One quirk I've seen is that opening a link in a new tab actually opens it in a new instance of PIE. Opening the same link in a new "back tab" does exactly what it's supposed to.

Works like a charm. Thanks... This is IMO the best browser now. Opera was buggy. ThunderHawk was too involved.

Heh. It was quite ironic. I was using PIE and had to go back to opera to download PIE+ becuase PIE doesn't know that cabs need to be saved not opened. I cant stick with PIE. Opera is just so much better for me. I tried PIE+ and it just didn't cut it. It did not render pages properly, I really missed the zoom in opera, I could not use PIE without a stylus ect ect ect. I can't wait for the next version of opera.

I admit that every new tab I've tried appears to actually open it in new instance of PIE, as you said, but I don't know what you mean by opening a link in a new "back tab". The only options I've seen are "New Blank", "New Current", "New from Closed", or "Current from Closed", and I've tried all of them with no luck. I've never seen anything but one tab on the bottom. Please help me out, because tabbing sure would be nice.

Tap and hold on a link. On the context menu you'll see an option to open the link in a new tab or a "back new tab" which I presume means a background tab. I've had mixed success with both options. The link always opens, but sometimes in a new tab and sometimes in a new PIE instance. It seems pretty random so far.
