I'm wondering which hacks I can (should) install to improve looks/performance of my PPC6700 - I have already installed the rom upgrade - don't know if that makes a difference. I have fallen in love with this device, and have done a lot for it already. I have the extended battery from Seidio, a 2 gig Sandisk card and a buch of software. The onle thing I haven't done is any hacks. Any help - sepecially with an 'in this order' list - would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest you not install any if you love the device... Most hacks come with a side effect that some users do not understand.

Having a clean stable device is a wonderful thing. I think the best post I saw was from someone who installed a whole pile of stuff from a list.. I think he installed everything... His PPC was locking up all the time and he did a hard reset.. Realised it was WAY faster without all the junk.

Hacks are for working around problems you have with the device, if you don't have any problems, don't instal the hacks because someone else thinks it is great.

Thanks Lazybones - I think that's great advice as well. Basically, that's why I haven't installed any to date. I guess I should have asked the question in a different way. I'm comfortable with phm, Are there any hacks that are considered highly advantagous (as opposed to merely cosmetic) to improve speed or performance. I was interested in the junk hack specifiaclly, as the 6700 doesn't have a huge onboard memory bank, and anything else that improves speed.
