6700 tries to voice dial after call is finished

I have always had issues with bluetooth on my phone being very staticky, specifically people I speak to tell me they can hardly understand me, even with my phone less than 6 inches away from the headset, and nothing between the two. Also, when I answer the phone, the caller gets a loud electrical hum noise until my headset connects us both. (Jabra JX-10)

Recently, I have been having an even weirder problem, the phone no longer attempts to voice dial when I make a short click on the headset button. I can still dial from my phone, but AFTER the call is complete and I end the call either by the headset's button or the phone's key, it attempts to voice dial. This happens whether or not I have attempted used the headset to dial the call. I have soft-resetted my phone numerous times, repaired quite a number of times, to no avail.

Makes me want to hunt down the developer of bluetooth and shake them to find out why they decided it was a good protocol for audio!! That or throw my phone at him in disgust.

Any ideas? I am toying with the idea of loading my phone from scratch with the Sprint ROM update.

Mark

P.S. FWIW, when I was evaluating headsets, I tried the nxZen 5000 and the bt800, both of which had worse static, and I could hear the static real bad as well, so I settled on this, because it was the best of the 3. I am wondering if maybe I can go to Sprint and tell them that the bluetooth on the phone is crapped out. I am just not sure how to quantify this to them.
