Angry What is wrong with my phone???

I have a Verizon XV 6700 and the first couple month I had it its been great, lately this thing has been tweaking out, I had SPB Pocket Plus, SPB weather, and SPB diary installed before, and sometimes it doesn't wake up in the morning to remind me of my alarms, that was no biggie. Recently the phone would turn on and just start vibarting and it won't stop until I soft rest, on top of that sometimes the mic would go out and no one can hear me, and everytime I try to adjust the slider for the sound it would be on the on bubble, I can move it up and no sound, I do this again and its back to the on bubble. On top of that my contacts don't sync right now, I did a hard rest and it would only sync over like 6 contacts and thats it, I retyped all my contacts and it seem to work fine but the ones I added a pic to don't show up when I sync. I'm getting sick and tired of this crap, even my old treo 650 didn't have this many problems, I did many hard rests and the contacts don't sync right, I still get freezes in the morning when an alarm trys to come up. I recently switched to SBSH pocket breeze, and SBSH pocket weather, and the only hacks are the cache hack, and no sent notification. Sorry about the long post but I'm pissed and fraustrated, any suggestions? Times to get a new phone or deal with it?

I would definately return the phone and get a new one. Sounds to me it's somewhat confused and needs an overhaul.

aye I hear your frustration......I finally got the phone exactly where I want it and it starts to act up again here and there. kinda learned my lesson and hard reset it and just kept it lean and mean... I had trouble with spb pocket myself and I know theres prgrms that the majority sometimes say are prblm free yet I've had different exp with a couple of them. this os is so much like xp in that there is bugs and hacks and prgms that don't uninstall etc. yet I love it and its worth it now that I've got it right where I want it. sounds like yours is beyond repair though and I would give it another shot and let me know how verizon handles replacements....bricks.

So, went to two retail stores and they both said that they can't do the swap on site and I have to call a number. First number didn't do anything was just regular customer service, the second number was VZW tech support and after I mentioned above problems I'm having, the guy didn't even hestitate to swap the phone out for me. So I told him that 3 day shipping would be fine and what happens I wake up this morning and my phone arrives. So far so good, it seems a little faster than my old one, and it seems a lot louder than my old one. The screen is a little wobbly and loose so anyone have any suggestions to tighten that up? Other than that so far so good loaded my apps and still running fast. Overall it has been great that there wasn't much of hassle.

Heres the number if anyone needs it VZW Tech 1-866-788-9387
