OK - so after having gone through more then a handful of headsets - i'm ready for something more...
I've gone through 2 motorola's (can't remember the model #), flamingo cellpoint, the cardo scala, and the plantronics discovery 645. (if you're curious, the flamingo cellpoint's been the best for indoors use; but it's worthless outdoors.... plantronics discovery 645 for outdoors..)
I work from home, and use my phone for conference calls a good ~2-3hours/day. I've got my eyes on this one -
Sennheiser BW900
http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/periphera...ble-173789.php
Sennheiser took its time getting into the Bluetooth headset market, but finally after three years in the making it releases the BW900, a noise-canceling model that the company says can work up to 300 feet away from a desktop telephone. That number goes down to a more-normal 30 feet when you’re using it with a cellphone.
The unique noise cancellation in the BW900 is called “adaptive intelligence,” which adjusts to ambient noise levels and can even remember your preferred settings and implement them when things get noisy again. Originally scheduled to be available in January of this year for $330, it’s said to be finally available in the UK now.
(it's available for pre-order @ $220 or so from pcmall.com and a few other vendors..)
