how do I prevent phone from going into flight mode when battery is low??

does anybody notice it when their phone is almost dead it repeatedly goes into flight mode? its pissing me off

You mean when the battery is extremely low? Never had that happen so far.

At any rate it's probably to conserve power so you can still use the device, even if there's not enough power to use the radio functions.

You could maybe try the "permanently disable flight mode" hack (search the forums for this)

well i dont really want to permanently disable flight mode on my phone i just want it to turn on WHEN I WANT IT TO. not when the phone wants it to. this phone tends to what it wants when it wants

Sorry, my only other suggestion is to:

Keep your battery more charged

and/or

Get the Seidio extended battery.


I've never had the phone turn on flight mode without me telling it to, but I've never been below 20% battery either.

yea ive never had my battery this low before too. i work in a cell phone store so i was using the motorola mini-usb charger. i do know that it cant charge the phone when the battery is extremely low. but i never encountered a problem till today. how many hours talktime do u get out of the extended battery and how much does it run for?
