I am new to this whole emulator thing and am asking for help on where to start. I need recommendations for good, easy to use, emulator that works well with the 6700. I also need places to go to get the roms as for it seems that the emlators don't come with the roms. I donwloaded the MAME emlator that was mentioned in the " i'm board with my 6700" thread, but am having trouble finding and installing the games.

I am intrested in playing some of the old atari and nentedo games. I have searched the site as well as google and just seem confussed as to what will work and what is to much for my level of expertise. I fegured the best place to ask was pdaphonehome. thanks, cody

I concur. PocketNester is about the only emulator that you can really use completely well and even then it's only good for role playing games because it's almost impossible to control unless you invest in a bluetooth game pad and actually manage to get it to work.

Nothing beats a dedicated controller for emulation.

pocketsnes isn't very user frienly. the hardest to figure out of the three i've tried. any hints?

I use PocketNester .. it works great, except its a little sped up (not sure how to slow down the framerate) and the controls aren't great on an XV67

I'll try pocketNester. I have MorphGear, but it doesn't seem to work.
