Unhappy Phone Issues Placing/Recieving Calls (silence on my end, loud static on their end)

I have a Updated ROM and from time to time I will answer the phone when someome calls and I can hear nothing. The person on the other end can hear nothing but really really loud static that hurts there ears. I can hear the ringing sound in the phone but as soon as they answer when I call them back same thing. And then all of a sudden it stops. Doesn't make sense at all. I had to soft reset the phone twice to get it to stop.

I even removed all 3RD Party software I had installed and still nothing helps. It seems to be some sort of software issue somewhere in the phone but I have not be able to pinpoint it as of yet. Has anyone else experienced this problem. Problems like these are making me want to get rid of my 6700. They are just very annoying and leave me where I can't use my phone when I need it.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide. I searched the phone and did not find another issue like this.

sounds like a possible hardware issue, you should get it replaced.

This is the second one though...

Sprint told me it could have been a glitch in the system at that moment...

It hasn't done it again so far. My buddy at work which has a MM-7400 said it has happened to him as well.
