I just recently switched from the Treo 700w to the XV6700 and my problem is that when I have a notification (like You have one Voicemail) and it pops up, when I hit dismiss it doesnt go away, so I cant see my other notifications until I've checked my voicemail and deleted them. I can click on the top icon and then choose the other notifications, but thats a pain.

On my Treo it was much the same as in outlook, where if you dismiss a reminder or notification, it basically deleted it and then moved on to the next one.

Can I edit the registry or is there a simple check box to change this?

I noticed the same thing. It seems that if you have 4 missed calls and 1 voicemail, you can't see who called unless you check VM. I HATE IT TOO!!

I'll be keeping an eye on this post.

Actually you need to click the Notification icon at the top. It will drop down and you can select whichever you want to view. I wish it would function like the 700w from the softkey

For the time being I have disabled the show notification check box, so when I get a voicemail it pops up top but it doesnt go to the softkeys. I guess this will have to be good enough for now. =/

That's annoying for sure! I don't like having the soft button hijacked.
